The Sun has now spent twenty days in Libra, the sign of its fall, in the western point of the Zodiac, where the Light meets its own reflection. Libra stands at the horizon, under the guardianship of the Archangel Gabriel. The element is Air, of cardinal nature. Within it, the Sun finds no dignity by sign, triplicity, or bound; its splendour is weighed in the scales of Libra. The emanating light discovers its own limit, learning the sacred geometry of relation.
From today, however, the solar current passes into the third and final decan of Libra, ruled by Jupiter, the diurnal benefic who governs expansion through mercy and understanding. Jupiter, currently exalted in Cancer at the Imum Coeli, forms a cardinal dialogue, reflected in an approaching square between the root and the horizon of the Wheel.
II. The Return of Venus
It is always essential to observe the condition of the ruler. The Air of Libra belongs to Venus, whose governance determines the harmony or strain of the solar passage. During the first twenty days of the Sun’s stay in Libra, she was in Virgo, a place of her fall, where affection turns analytical and laborious.
The Sun, already fallen, reflected a double weakness, due to the ruler’s condition. With her entrance now into Libra, Venus regains her throne. She moves from service to grace. This shift alters the solar tone; the light receives support from a dignified regent and its expression gains coherence. Although Venus has recently faced opposition from Saturn and Neptune, both retrograde, her strength in domicile prevails. Still humbled, the Sun now finds proportion through her balance. The relation between ruler and ruled restores order to the sky, allowing the fallen fire to act through harmony rather than strain.
III. The Four of Swords
This decan is tied in the Tarot to the Four of Swords. It reflects the expansive current of Jupiter held within a fixed pattern of four blades, forming a square that belongs to the element of Air. The image expresses measured extension, thought brought to rest.
In the Tree, it is the active principle of Chesed restrained within the formative world of Yetzirah, where grace becomes order and movement takes shape. The same geometry now unfolds in the heavens. In the coming days, the sky presents another quadrilateral symbol: a square between the Sun setting in Libra and Jupiter exalted in Cancer at the Imum Coeli. The pattern brings the solar will to meet the law of measure and the generosity of Jupiter finds its boundary. It is a celestial echo of the same discipline the Tarot shows in stillness: the peace that arises when expansion accepts form.

During this transit of the Sun through the final ten days of Libra, one may feel a slow reconciliation between will and grace. The mind seeks clarity while the heart learns restraint. Decisions may require patience, words may weigh more than usual, and beauty may return through discipline rather than impulse. The body can sense a quiet exhaustion followed by renewal, as if light itself were relearning how to shine through relation. It is a time for pause, adjustment, and the refinement of desire. The balance between giving and receiving becomes visible.
