Here’s another three-card draw to gauge how my week will unfurl.

The first card signifies the beginning of this seven-day period, and we have a beginning-hued card too. This is the Two of Pentacles, which points to the realm of matter, material and body. It is the first movement within matter itself, hence why it is related to Jupiter in Capricorn, the planet of expansion grasping the earth of Capricorn. Being cardinal, it is malleable Earth, something Jupiter can work with and shape. It is the prime, Saturnian clay in the hands of the great benefic Jupiter.

Even if astrologically Capricorn is the fall of Jupiter, contrary to his ever-expanding esse, this card represents a change of circumstances in the material world, and a quick one, like all cardinal signs signify. And, being in a feminine sign too, thus more receptive, a change will be brought upon me by fate itself. Also, we all know how Jupiter is related to the Wheel of Fortune… So I can expect changes in the material realm, specifically the financial aspect of things that has been startling me. A good change, I hope.

By mid-week we have the Six of Swords. Six is always the number of equilibrium of every element manifested. This is a card that represents the balance of intellect, something akin to a state of peace of mind that I will certainly embrace, especially considering that this will approximately match the day of the year of the Full Moon in Libra, this year precisely at the degree where the Moon is in my birth chart. For personal reasons, it operates almost like a second birthday to me, so having the Six of Swords for mid-week is indeed a hopeful sign too. I certainly can do without excessive mental stress and turmoil. It’s the rationality of Mercury operating within Aquarius, where Hermes feels comfortable, as he always does in Air signs. Right now, I can also appreciate the stability that comes from the fixed Air of Aquarius. Steady drafts instead of brutish wind.

To end the week we got the Three of Pentacles. It is as if we are harking back to the beginning of the week. Again the cardinal earth of Capricorn, but this time the change has evolved from the sprouting of the Two to the actual materialisation and incarnation of the Three. The shape started by Jupiter is properly worked now by Mars exalted in Capricorn, the warrior turned smithsman. Again the realm of matter and body is at stake in this card, telling me to harness what has started at the beginning of the week instead of letting it dry out.
